Réponse à un entrepreneur anglais inquiet

Simon Blezard, un entrepreneur du Net anglais que je connais bien pour avoir travaillé avec lui à Londres, m'a écrit aujourd'hui car nous sommes en contact en ce moment pour monter à Paris une société anglaise autour des liens sponsorisés .

Simon m'écris:

Je lui ai répondu:

Dear Simon,

In 1981 when the left socialist party leader François Mitterand was elected as President of the French Republic, some of the US Administration members thought that the Sovietic tanks would soon parade on the Champs Elysées avenue. Of course this never happened !

Don't worry, this morning it's  business as usual. On the contrary, if  this anti-Chirac vote from the French people could only change the wrong vision that we have of both the globalization and the competition, this "No" will be a benefit for us and for Europe. And as for the Europe in itself, this vote only delay of two years a meeting that we will have again with our European partners to build...at the end of the day.... a Social European model that probably the UK people will never vote for ;-)

J'ai croisé pas mal de personnes qui m'ont demandé la même chose... y compris pas mal de français.

En fait, je suis actuellement en Séminaire à Marrakech avec des clients venant de toute l'Europe et des US. Je confirme que l'on est bien en mode [Business As Usual]. Pas le moindre impact dans les discussions, si ce n'est des commentaires, comme l'on parlerait du dernier Grand Prix de F1 ou du mariage d'une tête princière.

Il est possible, au final, que du positif sorte de ce que l'on annonçait comme le début du retrait de l'Europe pour la France :-)
